How does FPM AML-CHECK verify a customer?

In one session it reads the CNIC or passport, transliterates Urdu names into Latin script, confirms the person is live, matches the selfie to the document photo and screens the verified name. Common questions.

Can FPM AML-CHECK read a Pakistani CNIC?

Yes. It reads the front and back of the CNIC, and passports, into structured fields, including name, father's or husband's name, CNIC number, dates and address.

Does it transliterate Urdu names?

Yes. Urdu names on the document are converted to Latin script so they can be screened.

What liveness checks are available?

Passive liveness runs silently during the selfie for lower-risk onboarding. Active liveness asks the person to blink, turn or read a number for higher-risk accounts.

Can fingerprints be captured without a scanner?

Yes. Contactless fingerprints are captured on a phone camera as ISO/IEC 19794-2 and WSQ templates, with NADRA verification where your license allows.
